Compliance Alert: HRUSA's Washington and Federal Labor Law Poster (and Digital Notices) include the new mandatory Notice of Employee Rights Under Washington's "Employee Free Choice Act" effective 6/6/24. It also reflects mandatory updates to the Washington Minimum Wage notice ($16.28/hour on January 1, 2024), Paid Time Off notice (October 2023), Your Rights as a Worker notice (September 2023), and to two of the federal notices:
- Effective April 2023, the Federal Minimum Wage notice (applicable to all employers) was updated in response to the Pump Act that was passed at the end of December 2022.
- The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has released its updated Know Your Rights notice (applicable to employers with 15 or more employees) to address the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act which took effect on June 27, 2023.
This requires employers to update their postings.
