Covered Employers/Employees
All employees who perform at least two (2) hours of work in a calendar week within the geographic limits of the City of Fremont must be paid wages no less than the minimum wage for each hour worked.
Required Notices
CalChamber’s 24” x 24" Fremont Minimum Wage Poster contains the official City of Fremont Minimum Wage Notice in English, Spanish, Chinese, Dari and Punjabi combined.
Every employer must prominently display the minimum wage notice in a conspicuous place at any workplace or jobsite where an employee works.
Employers who fail to comply with the Fremont Minimum Wage Ordinance (MWO) may be subject to administrative citations, penalties and civil actions.
Posting Specifics
Employers must post this notice in the top five languages spoken in the city based on the latest available census information.
