All employers, regardless of where they are located, with employees who perform two or more hours of work in a particular week within the geographic limits of the City of Oakland
Required Notices
CalChamber’s 15.5” x 22” Oakland Labor Laws poster (English and Spanish combined) contains these official employment notices required by the Oakland Municipal Code:
- Oakland Minimum Wage notice
- Oakland Paid Sick Leave notice
Every employer must prominently post the City of Oakland's minimum wage and paid sick leave notices in areas of the work site where they will be seen by all employees.
Posting Specifics
Employers must post these notices in all languages spoken by more than 10 percent of employees.
