Covered Employers/Employees
All employers must pay the City of Alameda minimum wage to all employees working two (2) hours or more per week within the geographic boundaries of the City of Alameda.
Required Notices
CalChamber’s 24” x 24” Alameda Minimum Wage poster (English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese combined) contains the official City of Alameda Minimum Wage Notice.
Every employer must post the notice in a conspicuous place at each workplace or jobsite.
Employers who fail to comply with the City of Alameda Minimum Wage Ordinance (MWO) may be subject to administrative citations, penalties and civil actions.
Posting Specifics
Employers must post this notice in the top five languages spoken by residents of the City based on the latest available census information.
