West Hollywood Labor Law Poster - MASTPWHL
Compliance Alert: West Hollywood’s updated Minimum Wage Ordinance (MWO) takes effect on July 1, 2022. The increased rate is $16.50/hour for large businesses with 50 or more employees, and the $16.00/hour rate applies to small businesses with 49 or fewer employees.
New Requirement: West Hollywood recently implemented guaranteed “Leave Provisions” as part of their MWO. Beginning July 1, 2022, full time employees for all businesses are to be provided at least 96 compensated hours and 80 uncompensated hours per year for sick leave, vacation, or personal necessity. Part-time employees are to be provided compensated and uncompensated hours in increments proportional to that accrued by someone who works 40 hours in a week.
CalChamber's 2022 poster reflects West Hollywood’s increase in minimum wage rates and new leave provisions.
