Sonoma Minimum Wage Poster - MASTPSOL
Compliance Alert: CalChamber's 2022 poster reflects Sonoma's increase in minimum wage rates that take effect on January 1, 2022. The $16.00/hour rate applies to employers with 26 or more employees, and the $15.00/hour rate applies to employers with 25 or fewer employees. This requires an updated posting.
Covered Employers/Employees
All employees who perform at least two (2) hours of work in a particular week within the geographic boundaries of the City of Sonoma must be paid wages of not less than the minimum wage for each hour worked.
Required Notices
CalChamber’s 16" x 14" Sonoma Minimum Wage poster (English and Spanish combined) contains the official City of Sonoma Minimum Wage notice.
Every employer must post the minimum wage notice in a conspicuous place at any workplace or job site where any employee works, and where it will be seen by all employees.
Employers who fail to comply with the Sonoma MWO may be subject to administrative citations, penalties and civil actions.
Posting Specifics
Employers must post this notice in the languages spoken by more than 10% of employees.
