2020 Labor Law Poster Kit - Los Angeles (1 to 9 Employees) - MASTPLAKIT
The first paper poster (17” x 22", English and Spanish combined) in these poster kits contains the official Minimum Wage and Paid Sick Leave employment notices required by the Los Angeles Office of Wage Standards. It reflects increases to the minimum wage effective since July 1, 2019. The $14.25/hour minimum wage rate applies to employers with 26 or more employees; the $13.25/hour minimum wage rate applies to employers with 25 or fewer employees.
These notices are mandatory for all employers—regardless of size—with employees working in the City of Los Angeles.*
Employers must post the minimum wage and paid sick leave notices in any language spoken by at least five percent (5%) of the employees in a clearly visible place at each workplace or job site.
Next Required Update: July 1, 2020
*Please note: Employers located or doing business in the City of Los Angeles with 10 or more employees in Los Angeles must also post the official Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring notice.
The second paper poster (28" x 46") in these poster kits contains the 18 state and federal employment notices every California employer must post—even if you only employ one person in California.
The poster reflects California’s minimum wage increases on January 1, 2020 to $12.00/hour for employers with 25 or fewer employees, and to $13.00/hour for employers with 26 or more employees. It also includes mandatory updates effective January 1, 2020 to the CRD Discrimination and Harassment notice and the Transgender Rights in the Workplace notice; mandatory updates dated December 2019 to the Family Care and Medical Leave and Pregnancy Disability Leave notice and to the Pregnancy Disability Leave notice, as well as to the Cal/OSHA notice (dated August 2019).
Be sure to display a poster in each business location where employees can easily see it and read it. You'll need both English and Spanish poster versions if you have Spanish-speaking employees.
