Membership Renewal and Billing. By enrolling in Membership, you authorize CalChamber to charge your designated payment method for applicable Membership dues. During enrollment or renewal, you will have the option to select whether your Membership will automatically renew. If you elect to participate in the Membership Auto-Renew Program, your Membership will automatically renew each year for an additional one (1) year term (each, a “Renewal Term”) and will continue until canceled. You authorize recurring annual charges to your payment method at the then-current Membership rate.
If you do not elect automatic renewal, your Membership will expire at the end of the current term unless you choose to renew.
If you are enrolled in auto-renew, any additional accesses purchased during the initial term or any Renewal Term will also automatically renew on your Membership renewal date (the “Renewal Date”) for the full Renewal Term at the then-current price, regardless of whether such accesses were originally purchased on a prorated basis or at a different time.
Changes to your Membership tier during the current term will not alter your automatic renewal election. If you are enrolled in the Auto-Renew Program, your Membership, as modified, will continue to renew automatically at the applicable rate for the selected tier unless you cancel in accordance with these Terms. If you are not enrolled in auto-renew, changing your membership tier will not enroll you in the Auto-Renew Program.
You may cancel auto-renew at any time up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to your Renewal Date (the “Opt-Out Deadline”) to avoid future charges by following the cancellation instructions provided in your account or confirmation communications. If you do not cancel prior to the Opt-Out Deadline, your Membership and any additional accesses will automatically renew and your payment method on file will be charged. Except as required by law, payments are non-refundable.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method on file. Continued access to Membership benefits is conditioned on timely payment of Membership dues. Any promotional or discounted pricing applies only to the initial term, and renewals will be charged at the then-current Membership rate.
Auto-Renew Discount. Members who enroll in auto-renew for the first time receive a one-time 10% discount on their membership fee. New members: The discount is applied at the time of initial purchase. Existing members not currently on auto-renew: The timing of the discount depends on where you are in your Membership cycle: (1) If your Membership is up for renewal, the discount applies when you renew and opt in to auto-renew at that time; (2) If your Membership is not yet up for renewal, the discount applies on your next Renewal Date. The 10% discount applies to the Membership fee only and does not apply to additional access purchases or any other items.
