Los Angeles City Labor Laws Poster - MASTPLACL
Do you have employees working in the City of Los Angeles?
CalChamber’s 17” x 17” Los Angeles City Labor Laws poster (English and Spanish combined) contains these official employment notices required by the Los Angeles Office of Wage Standards—mandatory for all employers, regardless of size, to post as of July 1, 2016:
- Los Angeles Paid Sick Leave for 7/1/16: Applies to employers with 26 or more employees (implementation delayed until 2017 for employers with 25 or fewer employers)
- Los Angeles Minimum Wage for 7/1/16: Applies to employers—with 26 or more employees—who are now required to pay the $10.50/hour minimum wage (increase delayed until 2017 for employers with 25 or fewer employees)
Be sure to post it in a clearly visible place at each workplace or job site.
Failure to post notice of the Los Angeles minimum wage rate and sick time benefits can result in a fine paid to the City of up to $500.
Note: If at least five percent of your employees at a workplace or job site speak a language other than English or Spanish, you must post the minimum wage and paid sick leave notices in that/those language(s).
If you need additional official translations of the notices after purchasing CalChamber’s combined English and Spanish poster, call Customer Service at (800) 331-8877.
