Description Effective January 1, 2018, SB 396 requires mandatory California harassment prevention training for supervisors to include content on harassment based on gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation. CalChamber will update this course to reflect the new mandate so employers are in compliance. If you've purchased this training from us in the past year: Any assigned training must be completed by December 31, 2017. After that date, the learner will lose any progress made and will need to be reassigned to the new 2018 course. Any unassigned training will automatically update to the new 2018 course when it becomes available on approximately December 31, 2017. Part-time and temporary employees (including those hired through staffing agencies) plus independent contractors are part of the minimum employee count of 50.
