As of January 1, 2024, the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative Notice has been updated, applying to employers with 10 or more employees.

• If you’ve previously purchased a City of Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative Poster dated prior to January 1, 2024 from CalChamber, you’ll need to purchase a current City of Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative Poster (Item PLAFCL).

Effective July 1, 2023, the City of Los Angeles’ minimum wage increased to $16.78/hour. City of Los Angeles employers must update their postings to reflect this change.

• If you've previously purchased a City of Los Angeles Labor Law Poster dated prior to July 2023 from CalChamber, you’ll need to purchase a current City of Los Angeles Labor Law Poster (Item PLACL).

CalChamber Poster Details:

City of Los Angeles Labor Law Notice Poster (24" x 22")

• In English/Spanish/Simplified Chinese combined; contains the official Minimum Wage and Paid Sick Leave employment notices required by the Los Angeles Office of Wage Standards.
• This notice is mandatory for all employers with workers in the City of Los Angeles, regardless of size.

City of Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative Poster (24" x 14")

• In English/Spanish/Simplified Chinese combined; contains the required notice limiting the use of criminal history information by Los Angeles employers.
• This notice is mandatory for employers located or doing business in the City of Los Angeles that have 10 or more employees in Los Angeles.

City of Los Angeles Fair Work Week Poster (30" x 21")

• In English/Spanish/Simplified Chinese combined; contains the official employment notice provided by the city.
• This ordinance covers any business that:                      
  1. Is identified as a retail business under retail trade categories 44-45 in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS);
  2. Directly, indirectly or through an agent or any other person, including through the services of a temporary service or staffing agency, exercises control over the wages, hours or working conditions of any employee; and
  3. Has 300 or more employees globally and any working in Los Angeles City.

City of Los Angeles Requirements:

Employers with employees working in the City of Los Angeles must display the required notices in English in a conspicuous place at the workplace or jobsite where any employee works (usually in a break room or similar common space), and in any language spoken by at least five percent (5%) of the employees at a workplace or jobsite.
